Running
Start Niederuster (Turicum) - Route map
The relay consists of two participants. The first person runs the entire half marathon, the second runs 9.3 km together with the first runner from Maur. The two runners must cross the finish line together - the times of both runners are added together for the ranking.
For the second runner, transport from Niederuster to Maur is organized by boat. This year, the number of participants is limited to 200 teams. You can start in starting block 3 (target time half marathon under 1h48; boat transport for runner 2 at 10:25 AM from Niederuster) or 5 (target time under 1h56; boat transport for runner 2 at 10:50 AM from Niederuster).

The Greifenseelauf half marathon is one of the twelve races in the ZKB Zürilauf Cup.

Control closure: At the Schifflände Maur passage (KM 11.7) the checkpoint closes at 12:15. Runners who pass after the checkpoint closes will be removed from the race. The finish control closes at 13:40. Runners arriving later will no longer be classified.

FAMIGROS RUN & WIN is the running category for families. Cross the finish line together with your family and win great prizes! In order to curb the children's ambition, they will not be classified according to time, but an alphabetical list of finishers will be drawn up. The children will receive a shirt and a commemorative medal at the finish. The shirt for the accompanying adult(s) is not included in the entry fee. However, it can be purchased at a special price of CHF 20 when registering.

Groups
Groups of 8 people or more are requested to Group registration to use. Groups of 15 people or more benefit from a 10% discount on the entry fee.
Refer a friend
If you motivate someone to participate in the Greifenseelauf, they can tick the box during registration that they became aware of the event through family/friends. Afterward, your first name, last name, and email address can be entered. We will then grant you a 10% discount for your starting spot at the Greifenseelauf 2027 for each referral. Advertising pays off – maybe you'll start for free next year!
Application deadline
Application deadline: The official closing date for applications is 13.09.2026 at 23.59 hrs (for group registrations 10.09.2026).
From 14.9.2026, registrations and late registrations will no longer be possible in all categories.
Registration is required before 07.09.2026 so that the start number can be sent by post on request.
