The OC recommends traveling by public transport (included in the entry fee), as there are only a limited number of parking spaces available. At one of the most scenic locations in the Zurich Oberland, we would ask you to leave your car at home or at least park in the specially designated parking spaces. This will spare your nerves and our environment. You can reach the Village area in about 5-10 minutes on foot from Uster railroad station.
Free travel by public transport with the Swiss Runners Ticket
Travel by public transport is included in the entry fee for all participants! Two promo codes for a return ticket from your place of residence to Uster will be sent with the registration card. This allows you to www.sbb.chThe Swiss Runners Ticket can be purchased free of charge for the outward and return journeys at the ticket counter or in the SBB app. The Swiss Runners Ticket is personal and valid from Friday to Sunday. On the return journey, the special ticket is only valid with the Greifenseelauf start number.
The most important things in brief:
- The Travel route (place of residence to Uster and back) must be entered.
- We always recommend a Point-to-point ticket which is valid for the entire day of travel or is flexible in terms of time. Supersaver tickets are linked to a train connection. The passenger cannot change to another train with the supersaver ticket.
- If you are traveling within a fare network, we recommend choosing a day pass. The zone tickets are only valid for 2 hours or 3 hours.
